BASIC/ VERY FIRST ERRORS OF SWAMIJI

BASIC/ VERY FIRST ERRORS OF SWAMIJI

ISLAM – comes from the root Arabic world ‘Salam’ or ‘Silm’ meaning ‘PEACE’.  Islam means “Submission to the will of Allah”. (Also Religion of Muslims).

MUSLIM- is a person who submits his will to the Will of Allah. (Also Follower of Islam)

ALLAH- A proper noun for God Almighty in the Semitic languages/ religions. Prophet Moses in Hebrew called Him ELOHA. Prophet Jesus in Aramaic called Him ALAHA. Prophet Muhammad in Arabic called Him ALLAH.

MUHAMMAD-As a verse of the Qur'an reveals, "… Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah and the Final Seal of the Prophets." (Surat al-Ahzab: 40), the Prophet Muhammad (saas) was sent to mankind as the last prophet.
Swami Vivekananda doesn’t know the meaning of either Islam or Muslims and uses the words Mohammedanism and Mohammedans instead?

There is no such thing as “Mohammedanism”, and no such thing as a “Mohammedan”. The name of the religion is Islam and its followers are Muslims

Mohammedanism” implies religion found by Prophet Muhammad!  Was Islam found by Muhammad (PBUH) ? No !  Islam is on Earth since time immemorial, Prophet Adam, the first Man on earth was a Muslim, so is the last prophet, Muhammad.

Proof:

Say ye: “We believe in Allah,
And the revelation given to us,
And to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac,
Jacob, and the Tribes,
And that given to Moses and Jesus
And that given to (all)
Prophets from their lord:
We make no difference
Between one and another of them:
And we bow to Allah (in Islam).”
                                                    (Holy Qur’an 2:136)

In the view of Islam ALL Religion is ONE, for the Truth is One. IT WAS THE SAME RELIGION PREACHED BY ALL THE EARLIER PROPHETS. (Holy Qur’an 42:13). It was the Truth taught by all the Inspired Books.

“Mohammedans”  implies “Worshipers of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), but no Muslim ever worships the Holy Prophet as God.

Proof:

Say: "I am only a human being like yourselves.
It is revealed to me that your god is One God.
So let him who hopes to meet his Lord act rightly
and not associate anyone in the worship of his Lord."
                                                                                              (Surat al-Kahf: 110)

Did Swami Vivekananda take the words from the west?

YES!

Proof 1: “A pernicious tenet has been imputed to the Muhummedans …”
                                                                                                         --Edward Gibbon

Proof 2: “That his (Muhammad’s) reforms enhanced the status of women in   general is universally admitted”.
                                          ---(H.A.R. Gibb, Mohammedanism, London 1953, p.33)

How does one become a Muslim ?

According to Islam, Quran & Prophet Muhammad:

Simply by saying with conviction, “La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammadur rasoolu Allah,” one converts to Islam and becomes a Muslim. This saying means “There is no true god but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”.

The Six Pillars of faith, a Muslim should believe in:

1.      Belief in Allah.
2.      Belief in Allah’s angels.
3.      Belief in Allah’s books.
4.      Belief in Allah’s messengers.
5.      Belief in the Last Day.
6.      Belief in qadar (Destiny).

The Pillars of Islam, a Muslim should follow:

 1. Saying that, there is no god who should be worshipped other than Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
2.  Performing obligatory salaah (or prayers),
3.  Giving obligatory Zakaah (or charity),
4.  Fasting for the month of Ramadhaan, and
5.  Going for Hajj (or pilgrimage) to the House (Ka’bah in Makkah) if you can.

According to Ramakrishna & Swami Vivekananda:

Ramakrishna experienced Islam to Understand what a Mussalman is like.

To realize Islam what did he do ? He did not deliver lectures on communal harmony.  What he did was revolutionary.

1.       For several days Ramakrishna ‘renounced and forgot his own gods completely’.
2.       He did not worship them, he did not even think about them.
3.       He lived outside the temple precincts.
4.       He repeated the name Allah.
5.       He wore the robes of a Mussalman and,
6.       Was ready to eat the forbidden meat.

In 1866, Govinda Roy, a Hindu guru who practiced Sufism, initiated Ramakrishna into Islam. Ramakrishna said:

I devoutly repeated the name of Allah, wore a cloth like the Arab Moslems, said their prayer five times daily, and felt disinclined even to see images of the Hindu gods and goddesses, much less worship them—for the Hindu way of thinking had disappeared altogether from my mind.

[ Isherwood, Christopher. Ramakrishna and his Disciples. p. 124.  ]

Was  it  Islam or Sufism ?

Look at the conditions of the Sufis and you will find that except for a few pure souls, who themselves acted on the real and true principles of Islam and taught it to others too, all the rest have preached and taught a tasawuff (mysticism) which had already been adulterated with Aristotelian; Vedantic, Manichean and Zoroastrian philosophies and whose methods had been diluted by the ways of Yogis, hermits, stoics and epicureans that there was little relevance left to the pure belief and actions taught by Islam.

Therefore this Adulterated Sufism is not Islam!

Ramakrishna’s experience of Muslim in the light of Islam!

Point no 1: For several days Ramakrishna ‘renounced and forgot his own gods completely’. He did not worship them, he did not even think about them.

Ans:  But Ramakrishna did not say “La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammadur rasoolu Allah,” Which meant “There is no true god but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”. Which is the “Article of faith” of Islam, and a necessity for a person to become a Muslim.

And this article of faith has to be said with conviction (which means ‘I mean what I speak’) . Just by renouncing his gods, not worshiping / thinking about them for a certain period of time, one never becomes a Muslim!

Point no 2: He lived outside the temple precincts. He repeated the name Allah.

Ans: He never tried to understand Allah, or comprehend the teachings of Prophet Muhammad. An Example of Swami Vivekananda with little modification will answer this Question. If I happened to go to a chemist, who is a great man and tell him that, I do not believe in chemistry because I am trying to become a chemist since many days, and did not find anything in it, He will ask me, when did you try? I say, I forgot my family, did not think about them for few months, I lived outside my house, and repeated “O Chemistry, O Chemistry” and did even eat the smelly Onions & Garlic! The Chemist laughs at me and says: ‘Oh that is not the way. Why did you not go to the lab and get all the Acids & Alkali and burn your hands from time to time? That alone would have thought you.’ Every science Has its own method of learning, and religion is to be learned the same way.(VI.14-15)

Point no 3: He wore the robes of a Mussalman and, Was ready to eat the forbidden meat.

Ans: It is not at all a pre-requisite for a person who wants to become a Muslim / understand Islam to either wear robes (there is no such thing in Islam as ‘Muslim Robe’), or eat meat!
Islam permits Muslims to eat meat, but it is neither compulsory, nor a pre-requisite for a Muslim to have meat.

O ye who believe! Fulfill (all) obligations. Lawful unto you (for food) are all four-footed animals with the exceptions named”.      (Al-Quran 5:1)

Forbidden meat? Who forbade it?

The eater who eats the flesh of those to be eaten does nothing bad, even if he does it day after day, for god himself created some to be eaten and some to be eater’.—(Manu Smrithi 5:30)

Eating meat is right for the sacrifice, this is traditionally known as a rule of    the gods’.
----(Manu Smrithi 5:31)

In Mahabharata (Anushashan Parva, Chapter 88)  narrates discussion between Dharmaraj Yudhishthira & Pitamaha about food one should offer to pitris (ancestors) during shradda (ceremony of dead) to keep them satisfied.

“Bhishma said, “Listen to me, O Yudhishthira …….

(List of Offerings)                     (Satisfaction of Ancestors in months)
Sesame seeds/ rice/ barely & mash                                   1
Fishes                                                                              2
Mutton                                                                             3
Hare                                                                                 4
Flesh of Goat                                                                    5
Bacon (meat of pig)                                                           6
Flesh of birds                                                                    7
Deer                                                                                  8
Ruru                                                                                  9
Meat of Guvaya                                                                 10
Meat of Buffalo                                                                  11
Beef                                                                                   12 (One Year)
Meat of Vadhrinasa (Large Bull)                                           12 Years
Flesh of Rhinoceros                                                            Inexhaustible
Meat of Read Goat                                                              Inexhaustible

It is however interesting to note that, cow was slaughtered by the ancient Hindus to enjoy it's Beef, and as a sacrifice. Gandhi himself says, "I know there are scholars who tell us that cow-sacrifice is mentioned in the Vedas. I...read a sentence in our Sanskrit text-book to the effect that Brahmins of old (period) used to eat beef" (Hindu Dharma, (New Delhi: 1991), p.120.)

References to cow slaughter for sacrifices in Rig Vedas:

Hymn CLXIX* (The Rig Veda, translated by Ralph H Griffith, (New York: 1992),p.647.

Let us serve Agni with our hymns, Disposer, fed on ox and cow,Who bears the Soma on his back.
                                                                                                             Rig Veda (RV VIII. 43.11)

Rig Veda (RV.X.16.7) mentions ritual enveloping of the corpse with cow flesh before applying to the fire.

Slaughter of Bull (Brahmanas 1.15) Aiteriya Brahmana.

Fat bull slaughter Brihadaranyaka Upanishada (VI.4.18)

Nowhere in the Hindu Scriptures is Meat Forbidden to Human Beings!

So What ? Ramakrishna did it, can any Muslim even dare to do this ?

Hindus & Christians follow some of the rituals & traditions which are totally opposite and contrary to the teachings of Hinduism & Christianity. Is there any point in following the practices which go against ones very own scriptures? If this is the way to Communal Harmony, then it is not only Absurd but also Impractical! Muslims consider The Holy Qur’an to be the last & Final revelation to the mankind, who can answer this question better than the creator Himself?

SAY: “O PEOPLE OF THE BOOK!
COME TO COMMON TERMS AS
BETWEEN US AND YOU:
THAT WE WORSHIP NONE BUT GOD;
THAT WE ASSOCIATE NO PARTNERS WITH HIM;
THAT WE ERECT NOT, FROM AMONG OURSELVES,
LORDS AND PATRONS OTHER THAN GOD.”
IF THEN THEY TURN BACK,
SAY: “BEAR WITNESS THAT WE (AT LEAST)
ARE MUSLIMS (BOWING TO GOD’S WILL)”
                                                                                          (Holy Qur’an 3:64)

“PEOPLE OF THE BOOK”  is the respectful title given to the Jews, Christians and Hindus* in the Holy Qur’an. The Muslim is here commanded to invite—“O People of the Book!”—O Learned people! O People who claim to be the recipients of Divine Revelation, of a Holy Scripture; let us gather together onto a common platform—“that we worship none but God”,  because none but God is worthy of worship.

Because He is our Lord and Cherisher, our Sustainer and Evolver, worthy of all praise, prayer and devotion.

In the abstract the Jews, Christians and Hindus* would agree to all the three propositions contained in this Qur’anic verse. In practice they fail. Apart from doctrinal lapses from the unity of the One True God, there is the question of a consecrated priesthood, as if a mere human being—Cohen, or Pope, or Priest, or Brahman,-- could claim superiority apart from his learning and the purity of his life, or could stand between man and God in some special sense.

ISLAM DOES NOT RECOGNISE PRIESTHOOD!

In the view of Islam ALL Religion is ONE, for the Truth is One. IT WAS THE SAME RELIGION PREACHED BY ALL THE EARLIER PROPHETS. (Holy Qur’an 42:13). It was the Truth taught by all the Inspired Books.  IF ANYONE WANTS A RELIGION OTHER THAN THAT, HE IS FALSE TO HIS OWN NATURE, AS HE IS FALSE TO GOD’S WILL AND PLAN.  Such a one cannot expect guidance, for he has deliberately renounced guidance.

{*àCan also be applied to.}

What did Ramakrishna do to Experience Christianity ?

At the end of 1873 he started the practice of Christianity, when his devotee Shambu Charan Mallik read the Bible to him. Ramakrishna said that for several days he was filled with Christian thoughts and no longer thought of going to the Kali temple. One day when Ramakrishna saw the picture of Madonna and Child Jesus, he felt that the figures became alive and had a vision in which Jesus merged with his body. In his own room amongst other divine pictures was one of Christ, and he burnt incense before it morning and evening. There was also a picture showing Jesus Christ saving St.Peter from drowning in the water.

Ramakrishna Mission Singapore (April 2007). "Lay Disciples of Ramakrishna". Nirvana (Ramakrishna Mission, Singapore).  http://www.ramakrishna.org.sg/Nirvana_Apr%202007.htm.

It really wonders me how did Ramakrishna experience Christians?

Did he believe Bible to be the word of God ?
Did he have Bread & Holy Grail?
Did he believe Jesus was born miraculiously ?
Did he believe that Jesus Healed those born Blind & Leapors ?
Did he believe that Jesus gave life to the dead ?
Did he believe with conviction that Jesus Christ was god?
Did he pray for his sins in Church ?

To my wonder  this goes the same Islam way above! The facts mentioned by him does not qualify him to be called a Christian believer!

  1. Dear Sir,

You are a very biased person with extremist ideologies and a fanatic mindset.I feel sorry for you.I'm really sad to read all the false things that you have written.I wasted my time with this article,i'm sorry for that too. There are tons and tons of things i would like to comment about, but after reading your one article after another my belief gets confirmed that you would never be giving any rational thought on my statements,so i dont want to waste time.May your conscience guide you to right path one say.
And one more thing, there is not much difference between jihadi terrorists and fanatic followers of islam like you are, because people like you are on the verge line,a push and you'd be also on the side of jihadi terrorists. But remember one thing,no matter how hard people like you try ,the extremist face of terrorist bigots are laid bare and the world(including me or any "FREE-MAN" ) would always stop you in your evil intentions.
    Thanks

  2. Dear Vishal,

How do you define EXTREMISM and FANATICISM brother? If Extremist and Fanatic is a person who is not a Hindu and Questions the knowledge and understanding of Swami Vivekananda or Vedanta then I am an extremist and a fanatic. If Extremist and Fanatic is that person who rejects to accept Swami Vivekananda's version of Islam or other religions then I am that extremist and fanatic.

The reason why you and me are here is the same. I think whatever Swami Vivekananda believed about other religions, especially Islam is wrong, and I am trying to prove it with proper, authentic proofs and references. Now if you think that whatever I have written about Swami Vivekananda's misunderstanding of Islam is wrong, you are free, absolutely free to prove me wrong.

If I wanted, I could have easily deleted your comment and continued with my work, but I did not do that, I wanted to show to you that my work is unbiased and independent. For us Muslims and Islamic community, Swami Vivekananda's out burst against Islam means nothing. The negative portrayal of Islam by Swamiji has not even affected Islam or Muslims even by the least bit. My intention is to clear the Misconceptions of Islam among Non-Muslim masses who blindly accept whatever written by Swamiji.

I would have accepted it with open heart if you would have proved me wrong with proofs and evidences, I dont accept personal opinions. If u had proofs against me, you would not have cared about my rational thinking.

Now even after reading all the misunderstandings of Swamiji, yet you want to believe in his false propaganda of Islam, then you are free to do so. Let God guide you to the truth.

Jihadi Terrorist? This is the last weapon most of the Hindu brethren use against Muslims, when their tongue gets tied or once hey are cornered in debates. Do you at least know the meaning of the terms "Jihad" and "Terrorism" ?

Your comment proves me right that there is absolutely no difference between Swami Vivekananda's ignorance of Islam & Muslims and that of your's.

I also know why you people want to defame Islam and Muslims. No matter how hard you try, whatever means you use, whatever cock-bull stories you make up yet TRUTH will Triumph.

If speaking against Ill informed and Ignorant persons is fanaticism and terrorism, so be it. Remember one thing, Truth cannot be conveyed through deceit, threats and slander. If u are really what you claim to be a FREE MAN, then you would have come here with authentic proofs and evidences to prove me wrong instead of threatening and slandering me. That is what is the difference between Jihadi terrorist and a Hindutva goon.

    Peace!

  3. dear vishal, one thing was very clear when the facts presented in front of hindus which shows and proves the weakness they simply come up with saying that this is wrongly quoted..yes no one who is a non-muslim can understand islam in a way a muslim can, brother imran tries his best to answer all the doubts with very crystal clear points but yes it in bravery to accept it. which i feel you dont have, its simple and easy to point other religion but yet hard to accept when it comes to our religion, i wish you can understand the teaching of islam to deal with non-muslim guided by prophet, then you will realize how beautiful religion islam is ?

  4. very good example you have given about chemistry imran, yes i am sure and have no doubt that vivekanad has no idea or knowledge of islam, he actully looking at islam by wearing the glassed of hinuidsm, when he find curtain things which is hard for him to do and to follow he turn back by opposing it.. keep it up imran and educated this people who can beleive in stone and animals more than god.

  5. Vivekananda has praised Islam too.

And what do you have to sat about the recent outburst over a American film on Mohammad? Do you still say Islam has nothing to do with it?

And Mohammad had nine wives, I think. Why so many wives??

I am not saying Hinduism is too totally correct. I am opposing your fanatic views.

And please explain to me the problem of Jihaad. Why so many muslims are joining jihaad movements?

    Please mail at jashrocz@gmail.com

  6. Do you know Taj Mahals wan't built by Muslims???

Do you know Vedanta teaches no god??

Do you have some basic understanding of Vedanta?

Tell me about the spiritual history of Islam.

  7. @Jash: I know Swamiji had praised Islam as I have mentioned in my other posts. But do you know that his praise of Islam was also due to his misunderstanding of Islam ? Yes it was. He wrongly praises Islam for what he calls Masculinity & Strength of Islam rather than the spirituality in Islam.

The voilance as a result of negative portrayal of our beloved prophet in a film was unfortunate. There were also peaceful protests in which falsehood of the film was exposed by distributing free Biographies of Prophet to millions of Non Muslims, but that was sparsely covered by the media.

Islam has nothing to do with Voilance, rather such voilance takes place due to the ignorance of right teachings of Islam.

The fact that only Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is accused of polygamy is rather surprising, since this is a privilege enjoyed by prophets before him. Their wives and concubines came in great numbers, too! The Torah, the Bible, and the Qur’an tell of some of them; the rest are not mentioned so we don’t know, but among the ones who were polygamous we can count Prophets Ibrahim (Abraham), Ya`qub (Jacob), Dawud (David), and Sulayman (Solomon).

From the above accounts, we can clearly see that Prophets—including Muhammad—were allowed to be more polygamous than their followers, not just for carnal reasons, but for political and religious reasons pertaining to their call. Consequently, it is groundless to wonder why Muslims can’t marry 12 wives like their prophet, just as it is groundless to wonder why Jews and Christians can’t marry 700 like theirs! Islam didn’t invent polygamy; Islam only made polygamy more humane, instituting equal rights for all wives. And even so, Muslim women are not forced to accept this and may put a condition against it in their marriage contract.

I would like to know what those FANATIC views are ?

First understand the true meaning of Jihad as it is mentioned in Quran & Hadith. You will find your own answer in it.

    {Do you know Taj Mahals wan't built by Muslims???}

Oh! I would definately like to know about it.

    {Do you know Vedanta teaches no god??}

Vedanta does teach about god, the self as god.

    {Do you have some basic understanding of Vedanta?}

I think I do, but I have not touched the subject yet.

    {Tell me about the spiritual history of Islam.}

Spirituality or History ? I dont know what you mean by spiritual history ?

    Peace!

  8. Have you 'realized' or 'seen' God as He or She or It is? can you claim that?

if not, sit at the feet of Vivekananda and His Master Sri Ramakrishna. Because they claim they have, and they can show to anybody and everybody.

second, do you know who Ramakrishna was? a kafir? an infidel? a seeker? a saint? a sadhu or fakir? Oliya? find out. it will be better for you. Not what people tell about Him, but Who He was.

have you read Sri Ramakrishna Kathamrita? please go through it -- it appears your quest was not to understand Islam (which in Vedanta means Sharanagati -- taught thousands of years ago in vedanta and Bhakti Sutra of Sage Narada), but to reclaim your Ego, that was shaken by Vivekananda's logic.

But remember, Sri Ramakrishna or Vivekananda and for that matter any Saints are here to show the Truth and path to that. and Truth is infinite and eternal. logically, there cannot be 'final' prophet or 'final' book.

i am not going to come back and check your response to my comment, because, if you respond, that means you are still trying to protect your ego, but not trying to learn from Vivekananda, vedanta or Sri Ramakrishna. Which means, all arguments are useless. 'Pease' doesnt come by speaking. It must be 'experienced'.

    Om Shanti! Shanti! Shanti!
    Om Tat Sat

  9. @ Dr Sachin Dave: I know that you have been brainwashed to overlook reason. But it gives me immense pleasure in writing in your own language. You have mentioned many points that deal with Vedanta & Islam, I have not yet touched that topic. Once I finish answering allegations & misunderstandings of Swamiji against Islam & Muslim. I will write on Vedanta & Islam.

You have to wait a little bit to read my articles on Vedanta & Islam. I will also write few articles on the personality of Swami Vivekananda & Ramakrishna ji.

You have stated that you will not come back, if you do you will find a whole new and different perspective of Truth as thought against by Swami Vivekananda.

My response is to show what "ego" really means. And I am not protecting my ego but exposing yours. I have studied enough Hinduism especially Vedanta of which even if you had studied 5% of Islam, you would have been on the path of Truth.

Your arguments are not useless but baseless. My arguments seem useless because you never tried to look outside the well of yours. You are like the Frog described by Swamiji who thinks that his well is his whole world.

Change does not come by giving speeches, it comes by belief, determination & practice. People are judged by their actions not by their mere words. Men of words without deeds are like garden full of weeds.

    Peace!

  10. Swami Vivekananda speech, given in London on 17th November, 1896, “Practical Vedanta’ Part III, p. 335; vol. 2 ]
“One religion may ordain something very hideous. For instance, the Mohammedan (Islam) religion allows Mohammedans to kill all who are not of their religion. It is clearly stated in the Koran, “Kill the infidels if they do not become Mohammedans.” They must be put to fire and sword. Now if we tell a Mohammedan that this is wrong, he will naturally ask, “How do you know that? How do you know it is not good? My book says it is.”

  11. "so is the last prophet, Muhammad."
why he is the chosen one? why others having gained the same spiritual knowledge can't be a prophet? We believe any one can attain supreme spirituality by his karma and therefore can become a prophet. Swamaji once said nothing is impossible for the soul if one person can reach God others can too do it.
So what is the logic and Reasoning behind him being the last prophet. Why he enjoys monopoly over god? I just want to know your logics.

  12. " “Mohammedanism” implies religion found by Prophet Muhammad! Was Islam found by Muhammad (PBUH) ? No ! Islam is on Earth since time immemorial, Prophet Adam, the first Man on earth was a Muslim, so is the last prophet, Muhammad. "

Mohammedianism means religion as preached by Muhhammad. As Christan is the religion preached by Jesus christ, Buddhism by Gautam Buddha. So, am i clear what was swamiji trying to mean.

If moses, jesus and mohhamud are propagating same religion what was that remained un answered or wrong in first edition that God required second and third editions. If you say it was improvements or amendments that was made in 3rd edition, then there may be 4th 5th and innumerable editions that God can make later. So, Mohhamud being the self proclaimed last prophet does not hold good. It is interesting to note that your religion even included adam as prophet. so what is bhagwan is it part of your god or shaitan? I just want to know logic's and reasoning behind it.

Quest for logic and reasoning should begin from what? why it is revealed to him alone and why it can't be revealed by others too. It seems to me that God is doing some partiality around here. why us kafirs need to go to hail even if we do good karma. Oh sorry u don't believe in karma. so for us who are unbelievers should go to hail. Why we should go to hail? what is the logics and reasoning behind it?

  15. “There is no true god but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”.

And it is again told by muhammad himself. What is the logic in it? It is appearing that word from quran is ur logic which should be other way round you should give reasoning ang logic supporting the words of quran.

  16. What a Muslim should believe in, what a Muslim should follow is also given. So where is the realising aspect of it? According to dharmic's religion is self realisation. So what you do is to follow what is given then u r a muslims or else u r a kafir, great logic to begin with. So it may be concluded that u follow something without realising it which may be termed as blind faith.

  17. As Sri RamaKrishna said

"Many are the names of God and infinite the forms through which He may be approached.

If you must be mad, be it not for the things of the world. Be mad with the love of God."

So he never says that one should follow this and that to be Believer and Unbeliever there is no distinction between people in the name of God. Neither he claimed Kali as only God Nor Allah. So what is important is love towards God not the rules laid down in the book. We accept ur way is "one of the way of reaching God" but not "the way of reaching god." It is the time that u realise God is not the monopoly of islam.
